Whoever enters Bergen understands immediately why it has been known as an artists' village for a long time.

The beautiful location on the forest and dunes near the sea, the sunlight that falls through the trees, the leafy avenues inspire the creation of beautiful things.

In the village center around the Ruïnekerk there are lots of nice boutiques, furniture stores and nice terraces. Art, culture and nature meet in the Kranenburgh Museum.

On Saturday there is a market, (voted the best small market in the Netherlands in 2018) with fresh fruit, vegetables, fish, meat etc and there are plenty of supermarkets for daily shopping.
